After going through the hard plastic frisbees, the rubbery ones, and the fabric ones, I decided to try making my ow using heavy canvas and marine fabric with reinforced hose to hold the shape. The result is a disc that is tougher than most and can stand up to an occasional tug-o-war, although they are not recommended as a chew toy and should be taken away when not in use. I still have and use some of originals that I made years ago - they're not pretty, but they still fly !! :-) TZLITES flying discs are not only tough, but they really fly too! And, still, it's soft on the mouth when caught. The disc is approximately 10" in diameter and will float if used in the pool.
